剧情简介
星际探索
在一个近未来的时代太阳系内星际旅行已经商业化，但依然价格偏高，科技水准有所先进但并没有颠覆性的物理突破，化学燃料火箭基本还是进出太空的工具，只是发动机效率极高加上可以降落重复利用，所以太空飞行速度快上了十多倍，较低廉的成本让各国在月球建有众多大型基地，但各国开始争夺月球领土让月球上也出现小型游击队战争，同时在火星有一座中型基地开启了移民火星工程，也出现了一些在火星出生从未来过地球的人类。
在父亲单独执行海王星任务找出外星生命情报的迹象并被认定失踪二十年后地球上发生很多大型电磁波冲击，太空总署发现可能来自失联很久的海王星计划太空站，站上使用的微量反物质能源可以造出这种冲击波，工程师罗伊·麦布莱德决定穿过太阳系去寻找可能生还的父亲，同时也想得知他任务失败的原因。
