2002年以来在国际、国内重要学术期刊和国际会议论文集上发表论文40余篇，受邀担任国内外多家权威期刊的审稿人。自2006年开始，师从黄文奇教授并与之合作，从事NP难度问题的拟物拟人算法研究。2011年8月至2012年8月赴美国斯坦福(Stanford)大学管理科学与工程系访问。访问期间的合作导师为2009年冯·诺伊曼理论奖得主叶荫宇教授，访问期间的研究方向为组合优化与近似算法。2013年1月至2014年6月为美国康奈尔(Cornell)大学计算机系客座副教授；期间的合作导师为1986年图灵奖得主、美国科学院（NAS）与美国工程院（NAE）院士John Hopcroft教授，合作方向为数据挖掘、社交网络与高维数据。
