创作背景
《Toxic》由凯茜·丹尼斯、克里斯蒂安·卡尔松、Pontus Winnberg、亨利·乔伯克编写，Bloodshy & Avant负责音乐制作，最后，布兰妮选择在瑞典的Murlyn音乐集团和好莱坞的Record Plant录音棚中录唱歌曲 。另外，这首歌原本是制作人送给 凯莉·米洛的，但在后来被她转让布兰妮 。于是，《Toxic》便成为了布兰妮的歌曲。2003年12月，Jive唱片公司准备发行专辑《 In the Zone》的第二张单曲，布兰妮于是便从《（I Got That）Boom Boom》、《 Outrageous》和《Toxic》这三首歌中挑选。最后，布兰妮相中了《Toxic》 。
