内容简介

近年来，中国日益开放与经济全球化的大趋势，促使国内众多高等院校英语专业进一步改革人才培养模式，更加注重人文通识教育。该领域的“旗舰”学府——北京外国语大学英语学院，把本科教育目标确定为“培养具有扎实的英语语言文学专业基础、宽广的人文社科知识和出色的学习、思辨、创造、合作与领导能力的国际型、通识型精英人才”。“中国与世界经济”作为“国际政治经济课程模块”主干课程之一，旨在引导学生了解世界经济运行机制、经济全球化新格局、不同国家经济发展模式、中国与世界经济的联系及其发展战略，并运用国际经济学原理进行分析。该课程的配套教材《世界经济概论(英文版)》也应运而生。1
