作者简介

Dr. Zhao Tingkai is a professor of materials science and engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in Xi'an, China.He received his PhD degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU,China) in 2005 and studied as a postdoctoral research fellow at XJTU from 2005 to 2007, and visited Northwestern University (Evanston, USA) and University of Oxford (Oxford, UK) as visiting scholar. His research group mainly investigates the synthesis, structure and performance of advanced carbon materials such as carbon nanotubes (especially amorphous carbon nanotubes), graphene, carbon foam as well as pitch modification, and their applications on solar cell, lithium ion battery, electrochemical devices and military fields. He has also contributed to the area of non-ferrous metals hydrometallurgy.
