创作背景
《Lighters》最初由Royce da 5'9"一个人完成，还准备收录在他的个人专辑《Success Is Certain》中。Royce da 5'9"把歌曲的伴奏寄给埃米纳姆后，埃米纳姆灵感大发并希望由自己来完成第一段的主歌部分。埃米纳姆和Royce da 5'9"重组为Bad Meets Evil后，飞往了洛杉矶，并拜访了布鲁诺·马尔斯并与其合作。歌曲的录制在密歇根弗恩代尔的Effigy工作室、洛杉矶的Isolation和Levcon工作室三个地方完成。
