hibiscus

hibiscus（木槿属，学名：Hibiscus Zhu.），锦葵科，约200余种，分布于热带和亚热带地区，中国有24种和16变种或变型。

该属的多数种类有着大型美丽的花朵，是主要的园林观赏花灌木，如木芙蓉、木槿、朱槿、吊灯花等；有些种类的皮层纤维发达，如大叶木槿、大麻槿等；有些种类也作药用，如木槿、木芙蓉等。
