作者简介

叶子南，浙江绍兴人。毕业于杭州大学外语系，后在美国加州太平洋大学获英语教学硕士学位。曾在杭州大学教授英汉翻译课，现任教于美国加州蒙特雷国际研究学院(MIIS)高级翻译学院(GSTI)。早年从事大量科技翻译工作，近年来主要研究方向是翻译理论和翻译教学。著作有《英汉翻译对话录》等，常在《中国翻译》等杂志上发表作品。LYNETTE SHI XIAOJING has worked as a translator and conference interpreter for thirty years，including at the journal China Today and at the United Nations Office in Geneva．She has taught translation and interpretation at the University of Hawaii and at the Monterey Institute of International Studies．She iS the translator of the well—known novel Camel Xiangzi and has been English—language reviser for a number of recent Chinese—English dictionaries published in China．
