New Young Pony Club是一支来自伦敦的乐队。乐队成员分别来自London, Hereford, Cambridge and Bromley。乐队深受后朋克和新浪潮运动的影响。New Young Pony Club受到很多乐队的影响，并且他们努力使自己的音乐与众不同。他们的音乐宗旨就是Wemarrythedanceethic with thepopethic, and make something that you can dance to and sing along to”

乐队的名字来自于领唱Bulmer在学校期间一直想加入的一个俱乐部。她原先想为乐队起的名字是Pony Club，再她看来这是“quirky and kinky andfun”.的象征，但是一个早先的爱尔兰乐队已经注册了这个名字，因此New Young这个前缀就加了上去，反映出了乐队更新。更年轻，更有活力的一面~~
