个人简介

主要研究领域为蓝藻（念珠藻、微囊藻和聚球藻）的光合生理与分子生物学、超积累植物的植物络合素合成与功能。

2005年1月-2006年3月，加拿大McGill大学生物系，访问学者

2007年4月-2010年12月，华中师范大学生命科学学院副院长

2010年11月，德国Tübingen大学生物系，高级访问学者

2010年12月至今，华中师范大学生命科学学院院长
