将静止的图片和视频结合在一起“解冻”了尘封在图片中的某一个片刻；

Jamie&Kevin:比起一幅静止的图画，我们想在图片里传达更多的故事；但又不想要用冗长的视频。在为FashionWeek准备的过程中，我们试着找出一种能传达更多内容的途径；

Fernando J Baez 摄影师说，Cinemagraphs的魅力在于："more than a photo, but not quite a video.“；

制作方法

方法一：比较简单。

下载一个软件：Flixel 就行了，不过需要你有苹果手机或者IPAD才行，具体情况请见参考资料里面摄影课的相关资料。

方法二：比较复杂，需要一定的技术技巧。

首先大家要知道这些图片都是 animated GIF，动态的图片全部都是GIF图片，GIF图片并不陌生，但是要有上面的效果的重要原因就是，每张图里只有一个元素是动的，其他都是静态。 因为图片里需要一个自然流动的点，这样就容易mask 和loop 在上面做手脚。为以后的animation做准备。素材需要连续拍多个图片类似stop motion，必要的时候要有HD 视频。也可以在网上找素材先练练手。

了解photoshop 和 after effects 两个软件基本用法。（有些教程是用AE和PS做的有些是只用PS就可以做出来）本人觉得只用ps的那个方法比较好。

先介绍一下只有photoshop的做法，素材是高清视频，大致从网上翻译一下，第一次翻译写教程这种东西，翻译的不好有些词不知道怎么翻译大家凑合看 ，有不对不准确的地方大家修正，共勉：

First, take your video video into Photoshop, and make sure theMotion workspaceis active (found under Window > Workspace). This will give us a simple timeline. Using the blue guides to the left and right of the timeline, select a 1-2 second segment that will form the basis of your cinemagraph. You don't need to be exact, since we can trim some of those extra frames in the next step.

1，首先，把你的视频导入photoshop, 然后确认Motion workspace是否能用(found under Window > Workspace).，这个会显示出一个时间轴，用蓝色的指示图，选取1-2秒片段作为你 cinemagraph的基本部分，其实不用很精确，因为我们也可以把那些多余的frames在下面的步骤里修改掉。

Once you've selected your segment, we're going to export the selection as a new movie. ChooseFIle > Export > Render Video, and accept the default settings. Now, close your document, andchoose File > Import > Video Frames to Layers, selecting the video file you just exported. This will import each frame as a new layer, which is crucial for the masking process.

2，当你已经选取了打算做成cinemagraph的片段，我们就把选中的部分建立一个新的片段，点-文件->导出->建立视频，接受默认的设置，然后，你关掉你的文件， 点->文件->导出->把视频的frames变成图层，选择刚刚导出的视频文件。这样就可以把导入的frame变成新的图层。为下一步masking process做准备。

In our sample video, there's lots of motion, with people moving up and down the various escalators —except for one. This escalator is empty, and thus, perfect for animating, while freezing the rest of the busy people pictured in this scene. In the Layers palette, the first layer is going to serve as our animation's anchor frame. With the first layer selected, ensure that "Unify Layer Visibility" is activated. This ensures our static anchor frame will repeat itself in each successive frame.

3. 在我们的素材视频里，有很多动态的部分，有人在动还有上上下下的扶梯，除了一个，这个扶梯是空的，所以空的扶梯对animating来说是最好的，这样容易得多，同时使来来往往的人定住不动。在图层里，第一个图层即将作为我们动画部分的最重要支撑的frame. 选中第一个图层，确定 unify layer visibility 是可用的，确保我们的主frame会来回的循环 。
